Who are we ?
Make A Difference (MAD) is the Télécom Paris association committed to the environment, diversity and feminism.
Our actions
Every year, MAD members organize numerous events for students, in line with these values: Clean Walk, local fruit and vegetable distributions, conferences on the climate with experts such as Jean-Marc Jancovici, scientific mediation workshops in secondary schools, and committed film screenings.
The association also organizes two theme weeks a year, on subjects close to its members' hearts: Environment Week and Diversity and Interculturality Week.
These events are an opportunity to raise public awareness of issues that concern everyone, through fun activities such as thrift shops, RainPot, vegetarian aperitifs and disabled sports activities.
Ecological Charter
In addition to the events organized by MAD, the association also works with the Télécom Paris Student Office to ensure that the campus' associative life respects the environment. In fact, MAD has drawn up an Ecological Charter which it submits to the school's other associations, and which guarantees compliance with certain environmental criteria in their operations, notably through the creation of a climate committee.
Our team
To organize its actions, the association has two divisions: the Environment Division and the Diversity Division. The former logically deals with everything to do with climate and biodiversity, while the latter covers the social aspects of MAD: gender equality, interculturality and scientific mediation.
